The front label is only an introduction.
Front panels are designed for quick recognition. They usually show the brand, product name, flavour or format and pack size. They rarely contain every detail needed for an informed decision.
Find the complete ingredient list.
Read all active and other ingredients, allergen information and any relevant source details. Do not assume that a familiar product name tells you the full formula.
Read directions and warnings together.
Serving size, maximum daily amount, food instructions, age limits, pregnancy advice, medicine interactions and storage conditions can materially change whether a product is suitable.
Check the physical product when it arrives.
Online images may be older than the current batch. Compare the delivered label with the merchant information, check tamper evidence and verify the expiry date before use.
Separate product information from seller terms.
Price, shipping, recurring billing, refunds and customer support are commercial terms controlled by the merchant. Review them before paying.
